Become a member of the Made in Montana/Grown in Montana Program!
Qualifying products and retailers are eligible to use the Made in Montana logo, as well as advertise, free of charge, on our Online Directory. Over 1,100 businesses, individuals, artisans and retail stores, producing or carrying Made in Montana/Grown in Montana products, are listed on the directory.
Products that qualify for the Made in Montana/Grown in Montana Program must be 50% or more value enhanced in Montana. Access Qualifying Guidelines.
Producers/Manufacturers
If you create, grow, or manufacture valued-added products or services in Montana you are eligible to participate in the Made in Montana/Grown in Montana program. One of the benefits of identifying your product as Made in Montana or Grown in Montana is that you are then able to use Made in Montana/Grown in Montana logos on your products. Another benefit is that you can list your business information on the Made in Montana website in the Made in Montana Online Products Directory at no cost. The product directory is not available in printed format.
*Value-added is defined as enhancing raw materials within the State of Montana.

How do you join the program?
Registration is handled by mail as state law requires your signature to release your information to the public.
To list your business in the Made in Montana Online Products Directory, please complete the following process:
1. Print out the Participant Application Form and fill it out.
Be concise and specific with your product description; there is a 500-character limit. Use descriptive words that would be used in a search for your specific product. See product description examples on the Authorization Form.
2. Print out the Photographic Release Form, choose your image format, and sign it. Don't forget to email the photographs, should you choose that format.
3. Return both forms to:

Retailers/Store Information
In 2002, we launched the Made in Montana Online Products Directory and invited all Made in Montana program participants to list their business/products in this one-of-a-kind directory. Currently the Made in Montana Online Products Directory features over 1,200 Montana businesses and their products and it grows every day.
The directory also includes a listing of stores that feature quality Made in Montana products. If your retail store sells products or services that were created, grown, or manufactured in Montana and meet the valued-added criteria you are eligible to participate in the Made in Montana/Grown in Montana program.
