Qualifying Products
Does your product qualify to use the Made in Montana/Grown in Montana logo?
Manufacturers, producers, artisans and individuals are authorized to use the Made in Montana/Grown in Montana logo on qualified value-added products.
The program's definition of Value-added means:
Montana residents who make a finished product that has been created, made, produced, or enhanced in Montana resulting in 50% or more added value
Manufacturers, producers, artisans and individuals are encouraged to obtain raw materials in state; in turn, participants will support their local economies and are thereby helping to support other Montana businesses. Staff will assist businesses in locating in-state suppliers and resources upon request.
Montana resident artists, authors, and performing artists qualify as Made in Montana participants.
Note: Assembled work or original recipes and ingredients that are processed outside Montana, and some service industries do not qualify to use the Made in Montana/Grown in Montana logo.
If you feel your product qualifies to use the Made in Montana or Grown in Montana logo, proceed using the Producer sign up or Retailer sign up link.
